Abigail Monroe '12 Recruiting Profile

I am very dedicated to and passionate about softball.  I am 5'4" and I am a left handed pitcher, outfielder and first baseman.  I also bat left handed generally in a power postion (3-5) in the order.  My most important accomplishments are frontier league all-star and scholar athlete as a sophomore and fronteir league all-star,Class B Section3 all-star and second team all north as a junior.  I am a good team leader and will do whatever the team needs without complaints.  I work diligently year round on improving my game any way possible.  I workout in the off season in the weightroom, running and on the field with various organizations.  It is my goal to play softball at the highest collegiate level that my ability as a player will allow.  I am looking for a school where I will play all four years of my eligibility.  I am also looking for a school in New York as my family has been a huge part of my success as a player and I would like to give them the opportunity to watch me play at the collegiate level.  I am open to various types and sizes of schools and my desired major is physical therapy specialized in athletic injuries.
