Samantha Weber '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Samantha! I am a senior at Dolgeville Central School. I hope to graduate high school and attend college in hopes to start a career in physical education. I enjoy working with children and hope to some day coach teams of my own. In my childhood I played soccer, basketball and little league softball. In my high school career I have played two years of modified volleyball, two years of modified basketball, and two years of modified softball. I am have been on Junior- Varsity basketball team for two years. I decided junior year to try indoor track. In indoor I threw shot put and weight throw. What I enjoyed most was doing CrossFit in practice. I experienced 2 years of jv softball and varsity my junior year. In the summer of 2017 I played on my first travel softball team with U14 Rome Spirit. Playing for Spirit was a great experience, I learned lots of new drills and techniques. The winter of 2017 I played in a indoor league with my team at Field of Dreams in Utica,NY. Also at Field of Dreams I attend clinics to improve as a player. The summer of 2018 I played summer ball on a 19u team and I enjoyed every second of it. This past summer I played on the 19u summer league again and would occasionally play on a 23u team.  Along with indoor track my senior year, I played winter ball at accelerate. I enjoy playing softball whenever I’m given the opportunity! My goal as a softball player is to improve and to get better. I am a great team leader and I have great attitude and spirit!
