Leila Hernandez '27 Recruiting Profile

As an athlete, I aspire to be the kind of person who can learn from their mistakes, focus on team and individual skill, and get to know college coaches and players who have the same dream as I do. I am a spectacular candidate for any team due to being easily coachable, a team player and extremely hard-working. As a player, I attend every practice, game, lift, scrimmage and I always bring positive focused energy no matter how I am feeling. If I happen to miss a practice, game, etc., I work on my own for extra time the following days. I practice inside and outside of "practice" in order to do my duty as a teammate and an athlete. As well as in school, I am punctual, reliable, and having great grades. I am able to multitask many different sports, classes, internships, and jobs all at once, making sure I am putting in all of my effort into my performance.
