Giselle Jimenez '15 Recruiting Profile

My ideal college is one that will challenge me academically and athletically. I am a well-rounded player that is devoted to the game. My admiration for the sport has not only lead me to playing competitively but also inspire and motivate young softball players to love and enjoy the game. As a player of the Freeport high school varsity softball team and the Queens Nassau Comets; disciplinary and fundamental techniques have prepared me to play at a college level. My experiences playing at Nationals and tournaments with my traveling team has definitely enhanced my skills. I have achieved academically in becoming a member of the National Honor Society. Freeport high school National Honor Society academic curriculum has prepared me throughout my high school years. I am considering a school that would challenge me intellectually as well. I am a student athlete who would like a chance to play at D2/D3 level. On this path, I hope to meet competitive confident people and coaches who may help shape my future in Criminal Justice, or Forensic Psychology.
