I play softball for many reasons, but the most important reason is because I love the game. I love the control over the speed of the game that I have when I am on the mound. I love being a leader through my actions on and off the field, whether it is striking out a batter in a key moment or simply cheering for my teammates to do well. Through victory or defeat, I will always love the game.

Playing softball has inspired me to want to further my career in the sport, which is a big reason why I want to continue to play in college. However, I still aspire to be a part of the world of sports even beyond college. Whatever I choose to do with the rest of my life I want to be involved with this world. I want to work with athletes on an everyday basis and help spread the love of the game. I know it will take hard work academically and I am willing to commit both mentally and physically to achieve my goals.
