Shay Bealey 2025Personal Statement
I'm currently a senior at Riverhead High School, and my dream is to play softball at a collegiate level. My college goals are to receive a degree in Sports Management, with possibly a minor in Spanish. I am currently enrolled in an amazing club called Athletes Helping Athletes, where varsity student athletes, talk to younger children about their journey and give them advice. I participate in yearbook club, helping design the annual yearbook. As well as interact club, where I do most of my community service activities I feel I would be a great candidate for your team because I work very hard to constantly improve in the game of softball. I'm currently taking private batting lessons to better my offensive ability. Other than on the softball field, I focus on maintaining my 4.0 GPA. I am enrolled in multiple AP classes and ranked number 22 in my class of 503 students.
I am looking forward to finding a team and school that is a great fit for me both academically and athletically.
