Gianna Cancelleri '20 Recruiting Profile

My goals are to be the best softball player I can be through hard work, dedication and passion. I have a strong love for the game and will never give up and will always keep my head high through any circumstances.  I worked extremely hard even during my off season to become a starter on my high school varsity team.  I lead my travel team in RBI's and average.  I was recruited to Oneonta State University where I play 3rd base and middle infield.  My time in the gym and dedication to this sport has given me confidence as a rising sophomore on a team at Oneonta.  I will work to be the best and encourage my teammates to do the same.  

I'm a rising Sophomore going to Oneonta State University in upstate New York and I am looking to transfer to a school in the state of Florida. I want warmer weather and more time to train full time outdoors to strengthen my skills. I believe there are more opportunities to thrive in the state of Florida when it comes to Softball. I am looking to better myself as a person and as a player, on and off the field.
