2021 SpotlightPersonal Statement
My name is Lillie Henthorne and I am currently an uncommitted senior of the class of 2022 at Westhampton Beach High School. I have been playing travel softball since I was in sixth grade on the Long Island Express 12u team. Since then, I have progressed through the sport of softball, immersing myself deeper into the sport each season. As my passion for athletics has become a huge part of who I am, I have also thrown myself into lifting weights and training, while working at least twice a week on perfecting my softball skills. I have been working hard and committing myself on and off the field for years in hopes to play collegiate softball. As a teammate and player, I strive to be a leader and be someone my teammates can go to when things get tough or stressful. I am a confident player and put forth a 100% effort at all times. - Lillie has been weightlifting consistently, 5-6 days a week, for the past four years. Her junior year, she began to gain interests in learning how to construct a workout, proper nutrition, and about overall physical health. Lillie takes her training seriously and is committed to becoming the best version of herself possible.

- Lillie goes to the field at least once a week to work on fielding techniques and hitting. Every other week in the late summer and fall, she worked out with a younger 14u player from her school team and trained in her all aspects of fielding and hitting.
