Anna Partridge '23 Recruiting Profile

While playing sports as a child I always had a dream of playing in college. I knew I had to be driven, motivated, hardworking, and athletic. My mom tells me stories of how she knew I would be athletic even as a child. She told me stories of her handing me a football and I would throw a perfect spiral to my dad and even handing me a tennis ball and a racket and hitting the perfect serve. Since I was always very coachable I did many sports as a kid and learned many things, but I couldn't see myself playing those sports in college. Until I tried softball. As soon as my parents signed me up to play t-ball I knew it would be the sport I would want to play in college. As I grew older and older my talent grew with me sometimes out beating my age. There is no better feeling than waking up in the morning knowing you are going to put on your cleats and play the sport you love. Through hard work and talent I believe anyone can accomplish their dreams, and playing softball in college has always been mine.
