Personal Statement
As a high school athlete, you have a dream to play at the next level in college. For myself it isn't just a dream, but a goal that I wish to follow through and work harder to become ready to play collegiate softball. I am a strong headed, yet polite, individual that has a love and passion for the game. "Where can you play", coach asks, "Anywhere you need me". Even if I have never played a position before I am willing to learn and succeed at wherever I'm needed. I am a sophomore at Forbush High school with a 3.81 GPA taking Honors courses. My Junior year I plan to take AP Calculus and English and also apply for an internship. My best subjects are English and History. I would be an excellent candidate because of my abilities on the field and also my attitude and positive vibes off the field as well. I want to excel also in the classroom and not just on the diamond. Being a straight A student and being physically fit with extra classes shows my ability to also remain physically and mentally stable all in the same time. I'm known to give off positive vibes and bring my team back up again, giving the ability to never give up hope and to keep playing.
