Sarah DePaola '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello! I'm Sarah DePaola.  I am sixteen years old, and a Junior at Fayetteville Christian School.  I have been playing softball since I was seven years old.  For the 2021 season, I was the bracket pitcher for the Cape Fear Force Elite and  Futures showcase teams, with first base as my secondary position.  As an 8th grader, I was the starting pitcher for the Varsity softball team at my school.  It was hard considering that I was one of the youngest on the team with such a huge leadership role.  Though the season was short due to COVID-19, I learned how to lead the team, and trust myself in the process.  The game of softball has taught me so much about myself and the amazing girls around me.  I wish to study either Engineering or Physical Therapy while playing softball in college.   I work hard to better myself, and I know that I can keep improving on my skills as an athlete. Even though I am still young, you can count on me to be the best player I can, and help lead a team! 

I am looking forward to the upcoming 2022 travel ball season as a new member of  Carolina Legacy 16U Elite.
