The highlight of my softball career was the Summer 2017 when I participated in the Babe Ruth World Series in Florida. My team, a small rec ball team from Bath, North Carolina, won the state, and regional championships to earn our spot in the World Series. We finished as runner-ups but we were undefeated until the last championship game. I am extremely proud of my team as well as myself. When I set goals, I work hard to accomplish them. I don't give up. I get along with my teammates, support them and encourage them in every way I know how. I value respect and make sure every coach and teammate get the respect they deserve. I challenge myself to improve and make myself the best I can be.
I have been playing softball since I was 8 years old and I fell in love with the sport the second I began playing it. I want to take my softball career to the collegiate level because I simply love playing the sport. I want to prove to myself that I can do anything I set my mind to. Softball has also helped my confidence. I realized that I can do so much more than I ever imagined by working to my fullest potential. I value the relationships I make while playing ball and what to continue building relationships while doing what I love. Softball has always been a huge part of my life and I'm not ready to stop playing. I want to continue bettering myself physically as well as mentally.
My goals for my academics include graduating high school in the top five of my class and making all A's. I plan to graduate from college with honors with a degree in Chemistry so I can establish a successful career. A big factor that sets me apart from other recruits is my academics. I have always made all A's and my lowest grade in high school so far is a 98. I push myself school and I strive to be the best I can be. I am my own biggest motivator. I participate in many clubs at my high school and try to stay involved. I love school and want to find the perfect college to challenge myself academically as athletically.
