Thank you coaches for taking a moment to read this! My name is Gianna DeLuco. My aspirations for my college years are to seize the opportunity of higher education to best prepare myself for the decades of life after college, likely working in Education or Kinesiology. I am passionate about helping people, playing softball at the highest level I am capable of, and doing the right thing in all circles of life. I believe in trying to make every place I go better than I found it & I feel that the results you get out are from the efforts you put in, so I work consistently hard on the field and in the classroom. Since a young age, time management, discpline, values, and work ethic have been drilled into me by my parents.
I think what makes me a different & a good teammate is that I stay very calm day in and day out! I don't sweat small stuff. I am very loyal, and I manage emotions well. My teammates are truly my extended family and I support them on & off the field because they mean so much to me so I try to make sure any issues no matter how small never hurt the team chemistry. To me it’s an honor and blessing to play a sport with great people so I do all I can to make things fun, keep my girls calm when coaches from dream schools come to watch us play, and to be an ear of support when something is difficult off the field in their personal life.
Thank you! Gianna #42
