Hello, I'm Ava Brue. I’m a catcher/utility player who has been playing softball since kindergarten. My goal is to get into a good college where I can continue my softball career while working on my degree towards Sports Medicine/Athletic Training. When I am not working hard on the field or in the classroom I spend my time volunteering with OSU's James Mobile Education Kitchen and at my local library. I learn best from my mistakes and I am not afraid to fail. That’s what drives me most to keep pressing on and working hard towards my goals. As a player, it is very important to me to create a positive environment for my teammates both on and off the field. I strongly believe that keeping a positive attitude makes the game experience better and fun for everyone.
