Isabella Leonardi...Personal Statement
My goal as an athlete is to find a college softball team that will allow me to pursue my academic goals and at the same time fulfill my dream of playing college softball. I am a good candidate for any team because I am responsible, have a positive attitude, and am a natural team leader. My role on any team is to encourage, help, and lead my teammates in order to create a bond that will be successful on and off the field. I am very strong behind the plate. I read the field and make sure my team knows what is going on. I am also very strong in center field. I take constructive criticism well from my coaches and always welcome their instructions.
Whenever I do anything that is academic or softball related I am driven to do my best and not accept anything less. My personal academic goal is to find a college that provides high educational classes that will prepare me for my future. I also think a school that focuses on intellectual development as well as personal development is important. One of my biggest passions is to help and do what I can for others. I am currently in all honors and AP classes with a 3.8 GPA (non-weighted).

- I have been training with my Hitting Coach Micaela Minner for a year now. She has really worked with all aspects of my swing and I have improved dramatically since I have been under her training. Micaela played for Mizzu and brings her expertise from what she learned during her college and pro career with the Akron Racers into her/my hitting lessons.
