Kristin Fealy '15 Recruiting Profile

Softball has been a part of my life for longer than I can remember.  It has always been a personal goal to play the game I love so much at a collegiate level.  I am a good candidate for your team as not only do I bring talent, passion, determination and an exemplary work ethic, I also bring strong leadership skills, superior organization, and a solid code of personal ethics .I am articulate, confident, and know the value of being a team player.  Being a valued member of a team, and committing 100% to my teammates motivates me to perform at my best. I am currently working towards my high school diploma at a Regional Arts School where I major in dance.  For the past decade I have effectively balanced the demands of a Rep softball team with competitive dance and education.  The discipline required to handle the rigors of two competitive sports while maintaining honors scholastically has given me skills that set me apart from other candidates.  My distinctive educational background has allowed me to succeed on an academic level, earning a 3.8 GPA.  It has also taught me to think "outside the box" utilizing creativity.  My background has allowed me to develop superior time management and organizational skills, which will allow me to succeed in my post secondary education.  Volunteerism and charity work have long been a part of my life.  I have volunteered hundreds of hours working with young children assisting them in improving their abilities in both softball and dance.  It is vitally important to me to give back to the communities that have supported me, and I am thrilled to be working with the young ball players in our local organization.   Away from the softball diamond, I plan to graduate with a degree in Criminal Justice or Criminology.  My future goal is to pursue a career in law enforcement, and I believe that this major is the best fit.  My unique educational background, and strong personal ethics, when combined with an absolute passion for the sport of softball make me a strong candidate for your team.  Softball is more then just a game to me . . .  it is truly a part of me.
