Mariah Frederic '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Mariah Frederic and I will be a junior in high school this fall.  Successful pitching requires hard work and dedication, but the payoff when you hit your spots, see that movement, or hit a speed milestone is amazing.  I was fortunate enough to have an ERA under 2 my freshman year, and made first team all league as a pitcher.  I worked hard for these achievements, but I could not have reached those milestones without my incredible teammates.  While softball is my priority, I also enjoy participating on my high school volleyball and swim teams.  I attended training to become a certified lifeguard, and obtained a job at our local swimming pool.  With a job and playing three school sports plus travel softball, I stay very busy.  However, I make sure that academics remain a priority.  I know how to prioritize what needs to get done in a busy schedule, and have a love for the sport of softball -- both are imperative in order to play at the college level.
