Elizabeth Malczak '20 Recruiting Profile

My biggest goal is to play softball competitively at the collegiate level while further advancing my education in nursing. Playing softball for the past eight years has formed me to be a determined, committed athlete. Every day when I step on the field I push myself to play or practice better than I did the day before. Yes, softball is one of the most important things to me, I also believe that in order to perform my best on and off the field I have to make sure I keep my grades up and where they are expected to be in school.

What makes me different from others is that I have a competitive spirit and am the student of the game. Also, while I am always working to achieve goals of my own, it makes me full of joy when I see one of my teammates reach their goals too. I understand that my team helps me succeed on and off the field. Without my team backing me up on and off the field life would be so much more difficult. No matter what obstacles lay in front of my team and I, if we work together, I know we can overcome anything.
