My main aspiration for college is to further my education and be able to continue to play the game that I love so much - SOFTBALL. I know I would be a great candidate for your team because I am extremely coachable (as I have been told by my coaches) and have a willingness to learn and always be a better player and person, on and off the field. I haven't taken the easy way out as I had been taking pitching lessons since age 9 from a Tincher trained instructor and since age 14, continue instruction with a former D1 pitching coach. I am hardworking in everything I do. It's just me, its my work ethic. Both my parents are hardworking and have instilled this trait in me.
I continue to excel in studies throughout my Junior year, even virtually (due to the pandemic) and continue taking honors classes as I move forward. I earned Superior Honor Roll for seven straight semesters in Junior High (3.89 GPA) and continued this trend throughout my high school career. I've always been the youngest in the class and on my team, so I've always had to work harder to keep pace with teammates and other students.
My career goal is education in some capacity, whether teaching children data analysis in a classroom or how to throw a screwball on the field, education is something I an passionate about. I could also see myself in a court room defending the rights of less fortune individuals.
Playing softball at a collegiate level has always been a dream on mine. Being a student athlete will develop me as a player, build self-confidence and teach essential life skills to better prepare me for the future. I always strive to be the best player and person I can be on and off the field. I encourage younger girls on my team to work hard and achieve their goals. I am always setting an example for them to follow and learning from my experienced colleges.
