Defense - First BasePersonal Statement
I am 17 years old and entering my Senior year at Marple Newtown High School in Broomall, PA. I have a 3.4 GPA and made honor roll this past year. I also was a member of the Renaissance Program which means I maintained A's and B's in all my classes and was involved in other extracuricular activities throughout the year.
I am 5'2 lefthanded hitter, 1st baseman and outfielder. In my freshman year, I was the starting 1st baseman for the Varsity team, as well as my club team. I work on my hitting on a consistent basis and get lessons throughout the year. I am a strong hitter and are often in the middle of the lineup.
Ideally, I would like to attend a school that is a good fit and has a good balance between the classroom and the field. My hope is to find a school with a reputable program in International Business. If I am successful in playing softball at the collegiate level, I hope I will make an impact immediately. The best fit for me will most likely be DII or DIII, although I will welcome any oppurtunity that is offered to me.
