My name is Sarah Yellin. I’m going into my Senior year of high school at The Arts Academy At Benjamin Rush. I have been on the school Varsity Softball team since I was a freshman. I believe Im a good candidate because I came a long way from where I started in softball and I never have a bad attitude when getting feedback and I work hard to work on my flaws on and off the field. I started playing softball in 8th grade, although I may have had a later start then most people, I still have the same amount of passion and love for the game as they do. I want to continue playing in college because I love all of the aspects of being on a team, being competitive, team building, cheering for my teammates and trying my very hardest on the field to help my team win.
