2021 SpotlightPersonal Statement
Hi coaches! My name is Valeria Santos Ramos and I am currently a sophomore infielder at Delaware State University. Coming from Puerto Rico, I am looking for somewhere warmer and closer to home with the ability to play college softball and obtain my degree.
During my years at Delaware State, I have been mainly working at 2B, but during the summer, I took the role of SS without hesitation. In the infield, I love to be vocal and communicate with my fellow teammates and pitcher between pitches to keep myself in check and locked in throughout the game. As a hitter, I mainly focus on having hard solid contact with the ball and letting it find a gap between the defense to get on base and can find occasional power.
