Personal Statement
My name is Megan Gauthier and I'm from Montreal, Canada. I graduate in 2021 from John Rennie High School. I am a student-athlete who plays travel ball at the highest level in Canada (18U AAA). For the past 3 years, I’ve been attending a high school that offers a Sports-Academics program where student-athletes follow the Ministry of Education’s academic program at an accelerated pace which allows students like me to practice their sport every afternoon. As student-athletes, we are expected to cover the required academic material in approximately 67% of the regular prescribed time while having to maintain excellent grades.
I am an extremely hardworking, coachable, and disciplined honour roll student who has a passion for the game. I am hoping to find the right college match that will help me attain both my academic and athletic goals.
