Paige Peace Fortin '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Paige Fortin, and I am a Junior in Tiverton High School, at Tiverton R.I. I have been playing for RAGE out of Pawtucket, Rhode Island for the past 4 years. I formally played for Bombers Elite out of Warwick, Rhode Island and played for them for around 2 years as well. Catching is my main position, but I can also switch to left field and right field as well. I'm an immeasurable and respectful student on and off the field.  Any situation off the field is put aside when I play, as I give my full attention to the game. I believe that when you go to play, you give everything you have in that game. I always make sure to forget the last mistake I made and make sure it doesn't happen again. Whether we are losing by 10, or winning by 10, I never let up and always make sure my team does the same. 

While I can only control myself, I always love to see my teammates try their hardest and get just as dirty and ambitious as I do. When I started playing softball at 7 years old, I never imagined how far my athleticism, love, and drive for this game would come. My copious love for softball makes my dream to play at a higher level even bigger.  I would be unquestionably  grateful if you would choose me as a candidate and teammate to help further my dream to take my academics and athletic career farther.
