Hello, my name is Cora Mesenburg and I am currently in 8th grade as of my 2022-2023 year. My goal to success is to major in either aviation or aerospace engineering. I am currently 13 years old going on 14, however I have already started planning out my future so I can be successful and not be bored at the same time. Ever since I was 11 or 12, I began copiloting my dad in his airplane, a Beechcraft Bonanza. From the age of 5, I went to an airshow and experienced the first female Blue Angel pilot in Beaufort and have made it my dream since that age to become a Blue Angel or Fighter pilot.
I started playing softball last year in 7th grade (2021-2022 year) and I am still considerately worse than those who play on my varsity team, however I have been doing my best to improve despite how long it takes. I play for my school, Bridges Preparatory School on the softball JV team, though I made it my goal by freshman year of highschool that I will be able to make it onto the varsity team. I am currently interested in looking for colleges, though I cannot do much until I get into highschool due to being in middle school still. I average a 3.3+ GPA and all my classes are honorary classes. Despite being in 8th grade, I am taking Geometry, English Honors 1, Earth Science Honors and a World History class (excluding encore classes.)
I am trying to pave my way into a good and successful future even though I am still young, but I want the best for myself and my family versus slacking or relying on them.
