My ultimate goal is to play collegiate softball at the level that best suits my future. I have been playing softball for my entire life and it has taught me many lessons. Such lessons include teamwork, responsibility, and work ethic. My love for the game of softball has grown stronger through the years and I look forward to my future with it.
Along with my passion for the game, academics and work ethic are my greatest strengths. I love a good challenge and I am willing to push myself to the limit to achieve my goals. I am always willing to try new things to improve my game. When it comes to my mental and physical ability, I feel that there is always something that I can improve to make me a better player and teammate. I love catching the most and enjoy playing middle infield as well. I enjoy playing positions that get a lot of action because I feel that the more opportunities that I get, the better I can be. I am a good listener and a hard worker fueled by determination. I am most recognized by my ability to draw a competitive at bat and my aggressiveness behind the plate. In 2021 I was selected as a 3A All Region player and received the 2021 Golden Glove award for the highest fielding percentage. I have been a starter for Mid-Carolina high school softball since 7th grade and have played travel softball since I was 10 years old.
Academics are especially important to me and have been the core focus of my career. Throughout my entire academic career, I have managed to make honor roll every year. I currently have a 3.91 unweighted GPA and a 5.0 weighted GPA. I have been a nominee and attendee for the George Mason Environmental Summit, and the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Specialists. I am also a Junior Marshal for my high school's graduating class of 2021. Being successful after my collegiate career is important to me and I take my education very seriously. I want to be a Neurologist and I plan to major in biology or neuroscience.
