Hi, my name is Ellie, and I love softball. I have been playing since 2nd grade, and I have had a goal to play competitive D1 college softball. I have great energy whether I am on or off the field. I also play basketball and volleyball. My experiences in all these sports made me realize that attitude is a major aspect of being a good player. I have been told that I have great attitude on the field and in the dugout.
As a multi-sport athlete, I face a lot of obstacles and struggles on the field, in practice, or in a game. I found that talking to my coaches and teammates has helped me overcome some of those obstacles and struggles. Communication and attitude are key! In my free time, I put in a lot of effort off the field in my yard or in batting cages working to get better. I try to convince my siblings to do this stuff with me and most of the time they say yes. If you asked my friends to describe my personality, they would say I am clumsy, brave, adventurous, bubbly and silly. I utilize my personality characteristics during practice and games to be a great teammate and player.
