The highlight of my softball career has been when I was a freshman, I was on named as an Honorable Mention to the All-State Team. My parents have influenced me to be who I am today. They have always supported me and have instilled their strong morals in me. Having morals like being trustworthy, giving 100% to all activities, and never quitting has gotten me far in my softball career. I became interested in sports at age 10. I enjoyed basketball and the more physical sports but at age 11 softball became important to be because I had found a passion for the game. I love playing softball and fell in love with the game. Through participating in basketball, volleyball, cross-country, track, swim, and softball I have learned that hard work pays off. Taking the extra time to work on the various parts of the sport has enhanced my ability. I love softball, and I am passionate about going to the next level, college to play the game I love. My academic goals for high school are to graduate on the A honor roll and to be eligible for an academic scholarship as well as an athletic one. I plan to continue to participate in journalism, I hope to be president of the club and help make the program be the best it can be. My college goals at the moment is to graduate with my degree, keep a 3.5 GPA or above, be involved with the college community, and to give back to the community any way I can. Obstacles I have had to overcome to get where I am today is the adversity of age. My dad has always taught me to defeat adversity. I worked very hard my freshman year to accomplish my goal of being recognized at the state level on the all-state team. With there only being one other freshman on the all-state teams I felt I had pushed through the challenge of being too young. I posses unique characteristics that separates me from other athletes. I have a great work ethic, I give 100% to learning and performing in school and at softball. I am enthusiastic and a happy person. I try to see the best in things and it is important to me to keep my teammates upbeat. With the opportunity to play college softball I will work my hardest on the field, off the field, and work to be a role model.
