Lillie Van Metre '21 Recruiting Profile

As a potential college athlete I'm excited to start the process of finding the school and softball program that is right for me. My academic interests lie in forensics and education. Whether the school is large or small, I am open to opportunities that focus on academic success off the field, and a strong, disciplined focus of softball on the field.

As a student athlete competing at the varsity level in three sports (volleyball, basketball, & softball) I have had to develop strict time management skills. And through my freshman year, I have learned a great deal. I've often been described as a "coach's kid." willing to play any position needed, and have the ability to be pushed to the next level to meet the team's needs. As a pitcher I'm always striving for perfection, but rarely satisfied, and so work never ends.

I 'm a RH pitcher and play utility for the EC Bullets which allows me to showcase my softball IQ at many positions including at middle infield, on the corners, and in the outfield. I’m currently bat between the five and six hole,. I have quick hands, good speed, and love to workout with my coaches. I hope to speak to you and your staff about how I might benefit your program and how your school can benefit me academically.
