I first became interested in softball when I was 7 years old. It was a new sport that I was trying out and I ended up falling in love with it. Playing softball has given me so many amazing opportunities and throughout the years has taught me strength, leadership, and discipline. Being challenged physically and academically is something that I strive for and want in a college career as a student athlete. I believe that being challenged and working hard is the best way to become better at anything whether it is academics or athletics. In college I look forward to pursuing a pre-med major and being able to play softball at a competitive level. On my travel team I am seen as a leader and I appriciate being trusted and looked up to by people who mean so much to me. I know being apart of a team is crucial because the bond created between teammates is unbreakable. I look forward to creating future bonds with my high school and college teams similar to the ones I have now. Thank you for taking the time to read my statement.
