My name is Victoria Gil I am born and raised in Austin,Texas. I’m class of 2021 and I go to William B. Travis Early College High School. I am junior in high school but in an early college program. Meaning, I will graduate high school with an associates degree among a diploma. So, I will be going in to college with the credits of a junior. I hope to get my Masters in social work with a minor in counseling. I envision my college years a growth period in my life. A time in my life where I will experiment new things. Things that I have always wanted to do, things that scare me, and maybe even things I would like to redo. During this time I hope to have a group of strong women who are supportive and encouraging, a team that will have my back as I will have theirs. I believe I would make a great addition to a team, because I can take charge, boost moods and I am know for staying positive. Some of my talents on the field are my commitment and communication. I believe a teams relationship can only work if all members are willing to give it a 110% and that includes talking and being held responsible.
I know I will give it my all, whether it's practice, games or team meeting. My favorite quote is “Discipline yourself, and others won't need.”-John Wooden.
It’s my favorite because I am my biggest critic. I know my potential and if I don’t meet my expectations or exceed them. I want to get better everyday. I love learning new skills and gaining more knowledge.
I am a fighter, leader, supporter and a learner. I know I have what it takes to be a great addition to your team.
