I'm currently a junior at Christoval High School playing for Christoval Varsity Softball Team. I play RHP and outfield positions, but I am used wherever my coach needs me when not playing my main positions. My goals, overall, when entering a college-level team are to show up and give 100% whether I'm put in my position of choice or not. I strive to improve my overall performance every day and competing at the college level has been a dream of mine since age 8. Softball has been the one aspect of my life that nobody can take away from me and it's been my escape from all the troubles in my life. Playing this sport has established me as a leader for others and has taught me the value of opportunities that come when you work for something. Intending to do what's best for my team and the coaches involved is a priority, and taking my pitching, outfield, and batting skills to the next step is my main goal.
I'm interested in studying Nursing because I like to take care of others. When it comes to choosing a college, I'm willing to attend anywhere in the country. I feel like I would be a good candidate for college-level teams because I'm truly in love with the game and will fully commit while staying on top of my degree. I do very well under pressure and love the adrenaline rush that comes with stepping on the mound. I'm skilled at bat but can lay down good bunts and run bases like a champ while also having other advanced skills in outfield positions. Pitching has been something I have done for years, and I have a very accurate pitch count but need speed improvement! I've received an all-district first-team pitcher in 2020 and second team all-district pitcher in 2021. I've been playing sports all my life and have done track, volleyball, one-act play, DECA leadership, FCA leadership, and even cheer while staying on top of my grades. I loved being involved in academics and staying in shape, but my focus and passion have been softball. Taking on this commitment will help me grow in areas of responsibility and help build my future!
