My name is Emily McAnear but my team calls me Mac.
I fell in love with the game of softball when I was in the 7th grade and started playing select ball. I had an amazing coach that gave me an opportunity that I had never been given and I took full advantage of it. I have always been told i’m a very coachable player because I play and listen with a good attitude and the coaches I’ve had so far can tell you that I give nothing less than 100%. This work ethic goes for my school work and grades as well. I have always had to work really hard for my accomplishments in the classroom and on the field but thanks to my parents and coaches who never handed me anything, but instead made me work hard and gain a thick skin I feel makes me an asset to any soft team.
I don’t have an exact future plan just yet but what I do know is that I would love to play softball at the next level and study Veterinary Science.
