Hello. My name is Tatum Wright. I am a senior at Centennial High School in Frisco, Texas. My unweighted GPA is 3.83 and my weighted GPA is 4.65. I am a member of National Honor Society . As a result of my grades in advanced placement courses I was inducted into NHS my sophomore year. I am proud to be a NHS member because it allows me to give back to my community by volunteering and serving as a role model. Also, I am a member of HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) which is an organization that provides students with an opportunity to learn more about the medical field and careers that coincide with medical programs. I have taken high school courses such as medical terminology, biology, anatomy and physiology and health science. As a result, I was one of 200 students selected to enroll in a dual credit program, Health Science II . As part of my senior year, I will participate in this program and have the opportunity to work in hospitals and nursing homes to gain insight in the medical field. As a college student athlete, I would like to pursue a degree in nursing and eventually become a Physician Assistant. With a hectic student/ athlete schedule, it is important to me to set goals. One of my goals is to stay organized and prepared. This goal pertains to both on and off the field. Another one of my goals is to be a better person than I was last week. This includes being a better player, student, daughter, and friend. Having goals allows me to become the best possible version of myself. Being a contributing member of a team is another goal that is important to me. Working hard, having a positive attitude, and a willingness to do what it takes to improve my play are components of my game. I would be honored to be considered as a 2022 prospective recruit and look forward to having a personal conversation with you once the NCAA dead period is lifted.
