I started playing softball when I was ten, and was so excited about the first practice. I told my mom I wanted to play any position but catcher. After practice, I went home and was so thrilled that I was the catcher. I couldn't imagine it going any other way. On the field, I love to be a leader and carry the pack. I communicate well with my teammates on and off the turf. Someone recently asked me why I want to play ball in college and the only response I could think of was "Why wouldn't I want to?". I am interested in many fields of study, such as Forensic Science Technician, Athletic Coach, and Engineering programs. My love for the game is extreme and I would be grateful for the opportunity to keep playing the game I live for.
