2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
My name is Isabella Sierra, class of 2026, and I am a dedicated softball player specializing as a catcher and corners. I bat left-handed and throw right-handed, bringing versatility to my game. I proudly represent the Corona Angels under Lorie Coleman and have trained with Marty Tyson since 2019.
At E5 Performance Academy, I refine my skills with Nikki Udria-Ragin, a former Division I player, USA Women’s National Team member, and University of Oregon assistant coach.
CrossFit training has significantly boosted my strength, speed, endurance, and overall athleticism. The varied and high-intensity workouts have improved my explosiveness, power, and stamina, making me a more dynamic and resilient athlete on the field.
My team recently secured first place at the 2024 Colorado Sparkler 16U Open Division, competing against 247 other teams. I have achieved elite scores in S2 Cognition and Vizual Edge testing and was recognized as one of the top 2026 players at the 2023 Alliance Fastpitch Stars of Tomorrow Games. I also competed in the 2024 and 2023 Colorado Sparkler Showcase All American Games and was one of 75 players nationwide selected for the OnDeck Softball Alliance Jamboree in Westfield, IN, in July 2024.
Softball is not just a sport to me; it’s a journey of continuous growth and teamwork. I am excited about the future and the opportunities that lie ahead.
