My name is Emma Thomas. I’ve been playing soccer since I was three years old and I have never stopped loving it. What makes me different from other athletes is that I am highly competitive. I hate to lose almost as much as I love to win. I am noted for my speed, both on and off the ball- my last "40 time" was 5.05 seconds. My endurance, drive and creativity are some aspects that make me a valuable part of the team. Although I am considered left-foot dominant, I easily transition to my right foot as well. I consider myself an extremely versatile player as I play outside back , wing and center forward. Although open to most position I feel outside backer is my most natural. I watch a lot of soccer on TV and study opposing players to learn their tendencies. My ability to mark opponents, field vision, and help on the offensive side of the ball are just a few of the reasons I feel make me a good defender. As I continue to play with different teams and players at both a high school and club level, I enjoy competing with, and against, some of the most talented girls in soccer today
I currently have a 3.79 GPA and I would like to pursue a career in the criminal justice and business field. I am looking for a college with superior academics, a deep sense of school spirit and a strong commitment to its student athletes.
I look forward to hearing from you and would welcome any questions you may have. Thank you for your time and interest.
