As a freshman, I don't have too much high school ball experience. But as a 15 year old softball player, I've been playing competitive softball for about 6 years and have been impacted by a lot of events and people around me. Someone that impacted the way I play the most was my 12u select coach. He would yell at us all the time for making mistakes that we shouldn't have made and I was negatively impacted by it. But it also helped me grow to understand that it's not always going to be easy and your coaches aren't always going to be nice to you. You just have to trust yourself that you'll make the right decision as an athlete and as a person.
