My name is Bryanna but my friends and coaches call me Bry! I graduate in 2024, and I play catcher, second, and short stop. I have played softball since I was 10 in fifth grade, and have fallen in love with the sport ever since then. I love the game, the opportunity's that the sport has given me, and the friendships I have made along the way. Last high school season (2022) I received 2nd team all district for shortstop. I put in work year round by playing select softball over summer attending showcases and camps, working in the weight room in the fall and still attending practices and lessons, and lastly playing high school ball in the spring. I would love an opportunity to play at the collegiate level, and am more than ready to put in the work that is necessary to gain that opportunity. I always try my hardest to not dwell on my mistakes that happen on or off the field, and always encourage my teammates to do the same. I always aim to be the hardest working student and athlete, but also encourage others to work beyond their hardest as well. I give back to my community by participating in school clubs such as Best Buddies and Climate Activism Club, and volunteering at my church. I would love to pursue a career in the medical field since I love to help people. I am currently on track to graduate from high school with an associates degree in liberal arts, and plan to transfer to a university so earn my Bachler's of science in nursing. My ultimate goal is to become a labor and delivery nurse. I come from an area in Houston where it is very rare for students to even attend college, let alone play a sport at the collegiate level. I want to find a college that matches me, and want to strive my hardest while attending to show other students in my area that it is possible.
