I have been playing softball since I was 4 years old. It has been my dream to play D1 college softball and hopefully play in the Women’s College World Series one day. I can't imagine my life without softball.
My coaches talk about how coachable and how I am one of the hardest working players that they have coached. Some of my individual athletic achievements are: 2023 District 19-6A - Newcomer of the Year (Katy High School), ranked #7 by Extra Inning Softball for the Class of 2026, 10U PGF National Champion, 12U PGF National Champion and 14U PGF National Runner-Up.
I work hard on and off the field. In the classroom I maintain a 4.0+ GPA while taking all KAP (Katy Advanced Program) Classes and AP World History. All-Academic Team 19-6A for 2023. Nominated for Student of the Month February 2023.
I believe being a student athlete my whole life has taught me time management skills, how to be a leader and a strong work ethic. When I made Katy High School’s varsity softball team my freshman year, I had to juggle KAP classes and practice/games. This is where my time management skills came into play. Being a catcher, you naturally develop leadership skills and a strong work ethic. For example: always going to practice early to warm up pitchers and staying late to work on throwdowns.
I want to attend a college where I can continue my passion for softball while getting an amazing education. Getting the chance to play at the collegiate level and have a chance to compete in the Women’s College World Series would be a dream come true.
