Victoria Veith '21 Recruiting Profile

I have a high energy personality and am very determined to obtain the goals I have set for myself. Since I was 5 years old I have told myself I would do whatever it took to EARN a scholarship,  no matter academic or athletic, so that I could continue not only my education but to maximize the time I have left to play the best sport in the world,  Softball. I have the dream to be an Orthopedic Surgeon after my playing years have expired. I also hope to be able to give back to this game that I love so much.  I have been able to overcome some obstacles along the way which has only made me stronger.  I have a great supporting cast in my family and even though I have much to learn I continue to strive to be the best I can be, both on the field and off. I am in Accelerated Learning Program in High School and currently have earned a 4.88 GPA on a 5.0 scale. I believe I am in the top ten percent of my class of 564 students.  I aspire to be a leader in whatever activity I take apart of and was recently awarded the "Heart of a Champion" award for my leadership within our high school softball organization.  

  I currently play on an 18U Gold travel team. I am one of the most versatile players on the team as I can play the positions of pitcher, catcher, first and third base. I usually hit in the 6 hole and have 11 home runs since June of 2017. I have a high contact percentage with minimal fielding errors. I realize there are many  parts of the game that I must still experience and learn but I believe I am on the way to learning these things.  Please feel free to contact me or any of my coaches and/or family for information is needed.
