Heaven Von Rosenberg '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

I am currently looking for a school with a great nursing program where I can learn as much as possible so that I may help others. While in attendance, I would love to continue playing the sport that I enjoy so much, softball!

I am a hard worker on and off the field. I consistently receive all A's on my report cards. I take honors and AP classes and consistently hold the highest grade average in my Certified Medical Assistant classes. Last year I was selected to attend The University of Texas' Dell Medical School Summer Camp and fell in love with the medical field! My ultimate career goal is to become a PRN and work as a flight nurse.

I have diverse skills on the field and am a true utility player, including pitching and catching. Just put me in coach! I can literally play any position that you need me to. I can slap and switch hit and generally bat first in the lineup. I enjoy switching things up and would be the happiest with a team/coach that would allow me to move around on the field a little bit. This season I was voted the "Game Changer" for my high school team, meaning that my team thought that I was the player most likely to turn a game around and lead the charge in a rally. I love making plays and catching the other team off guard. My favorite move is when I'm pitching or at third base and I fake a throw to first base on a bunt. My record so far for getting the girl out on third when they try a squeeze is 90% or better. That move comes from my flag football days! My pump fake gets them most of the time. I'm a fast thinker and quick on my feet. I was also named 1st team all district in my high school this year. Last year I was named to the 2nd team all district.

On a personal note, I am shy and quiet at first but I warm up pretty quickly. Just give me a little time and then watch me shine! I am a team player, all the way, and willing to do/try whatever the coach asks of me. I love learning new things.
