Aaliyah Ortiz '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches,

 My name is Aaliyah Ortiz, I was three years old when I first set my eyes on a baseball, I was a little girl having fun, didn't realize that I'd grow up and enjoy the game so much that the fun times would now become  a long lived passion to play the game for the next seven years. 

 Currently I am sophomore at Southwest HS, where I am the starting varsity short stop. It has been an honor to work with my high school coaches and see the limits set forth for my personal improvement, as a high school athlete.

I am also a member of the Texas Bombers 14U Gold team, my primary position  is 3rd base, the hot shot spot. I also enjoy playing 1st base / short stop when needed.  This 2017 spring  / summer season will be the first year, I will be playing with my age group, since I was 9 I have always played up to challenge myself.  Look forward to this years opportunities.
