Sloane Kocian '27 Recruiting Profile

I am all heart with my faith, family, academics, and sports. I am very athletic and involved with school volleyball, basketball, and softball while staying on course academically and making high honors. Of all the sports, softball is my #1 favorite. I started playing at 8 and kept on going. I've learned that there is always so much to learn about the game, whether sitting on the bench or starting on the field. There is always room for improvement, from running bases, working bases, backing up bases, hitting techniques, catching, as well as improving as a teammate. There is such an art to this game, and I am looking forward to all I can learn and experience to prepare me for the college level. I am coachable, competitive, and full of hustle. I am a go-getter and will do what it takes to reach my goals. I look forward to the day I let my family know that I will be that young lady on the TV playing that college softball game!
