Aubrey Murillo '26 Recruiting Profile

I have always considered myself as "The Underdog". Not the biggest and strongest on the team but one that always battles to the end. One that motivates teammates to try and prove others wrong- leading them to play better. This is an approach I take in life. No excuses; always do better. 

Being in a highly competitive sport, talent wins out most of the time. I have the talent to play at the next level but do I have the size? I do. I have it within my heart and love for the game. My knowledge of the in-game strategy and ability to adapt to situations has made me an integral part of the team. I have been a starter on high level teams my entire softball career while being the youngest on the roster. I have always earned respect by the way I play the game. I care about wins and losses. I care about teammates production and hold all of us accountable. I lead by example on and off the field. Straight "A" student and a full believer in "family". 

I am following a brother (UTSA) and sister (University of Texas) who have both earned degrees. Academics is my number one priority as it will guide my future beyond softball.
