Mikaela Ruiz '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mikaela Ruiz. Most people call me "KK" for short. I am very passionate about softball. I always put 100% into my game and am continually looking for helpful and constructive feedback to improve my game. I am a team player and feel as though I am a leader of the teams I play for. I like to set a good example for the other players. I enjoy helping others with their game and motivating my team to a win. My favorite positions are catcher and shortstop, but I feel that I am valuable at just about any position. I am an optimist and have a positive outlook on life. I like to look for the good in every situation. I look forward to working with a professional team or organization with a winning team spirit.

As far as education goes, I am an A student. Academics are very important to me and I work hard to make the grades I need to get in to a good college. I enjoy technology and computers. I am undecided on a major at this point, but am leaning towards engineering or computer science.
