I absolutely love the team aspect in tennis. High school tennis is very fun, but I want to keep improving to make it to the collegiate level. Tennis isn’t my whole life; I do not revolve my life around the sport of tennis. However, I love competing and improving day by day. I am a very hard worker (on and off court) and when I am not playing, I am a huge encourager- I have a lot of passion for my team! I got hurt at the end of my freshman year and I was out for about 6 months, and that was one of the hardest things I had ever gone through. Even though it was hard and discouraging at times, I realized I was much more than a tennis player. I finally understood that my identity was not found in the sport that I played, but who I play for which is God. My faith will always be what I center my morals around and the way I play and how I act on court.
I have had my moments where I have struggled with academics, but I pushed through and got help when I needed it and always did my best. I always enjoy learning and getting to know my classmates and teachers!
