I will graduate high school in 2020 and just completed my freshmen year at Copper Hills High School where I developed my leadership skills. As a captain of my travel ball team, OC Batbusters Montanez, I have been successful in my leadership role. Playing for my high school team provided me with the opportunity to develop my leadership skills of my senior athletes who voted me Most Valuable Player of the year for the 2017 season. I believe I was accepted as a leader and was honored with the MVP award because it’s one of my main priorities to be a good person and teammate, as well as, embracing our team core values putting team success as a principal goal.
I have been playing since I was 7 years old and aspire to play at the collegiate level. I love that softball teaches me lessons I can utilize to succeed in life. I have learned to never give up when facing adversity and to figure out ways to succeed when confronted with difficult challenges. I have a 3.8 GPA and my goal is to finish high school with at least a 3.8 or higher and to earn college credits before I graduate. I would like to find a college that is a good match academically and athletically. I see myself playing center field, making an immediate impact by utilizing my leadership, strong work ethic, athletic ability, as well as, bringing my outgoing personality to support and have fun with my team.
