Since I was 8 years old, I have had a passion for martial arts. I have trained under the tutelage of mixed martial art legend Jeremy Horn. Jeremy helped me to discover my passion for not only kickboxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, but also to develop a love for pushing myself to the limits. In 2017 I placed twice in North American Grappling Association tournaments: 2nd place in March 2017 and 1st place in September 2017. In my freshman year of high school (2017-2018), I added wrestling to my repertoire of martial arts.
I am motivated to get into a top-tier college with an engineering focus. I am passionate about serving my country after graduation and have set my high school focus to achieve this goal. In 2017 I enrolled with the Navy Sea Cadet program, as well as added wrestling to my repertoire of martial arts. I have devoted a lot of time in my life to working out and focusing on academic achievement. The transition from jiu-jitsu to wrestling was difficult, however I continue to wrestle in the off-season. While I didn't achieve the results that I sought in wrestling this season, I have a great team of coaches at Copper Hills High School and Jeremy Horn's Elite Performance to help me achieve my wrestling goals in the 2018-19 season.
