I am a 3-time athlete, but I love playing softball the most. I love softball because it allows me to learn how to work well with a team and allows me to push my physical strength. I play basketball and run cross-country in my free time. I made the basketball team because my coach knew I was fast, and I am coachable. They knew if there was ever anything I needed to work on I would say yes ma'am or yes sir and try my hardest to work on it. I run cross-country because it helps me stay in shape during softball season. Running for fun is something most people think is weird, but I think it shows self-motivation. It shows that you’re willing to put in more work in other sports especially softball. It also shows motivation to play other sports to help me stay in shape.
Even though I play these other sports, my favorite sport will always be softball. I play center field for my travel team and I've played left field for my school team. I am a hard worker, driven, will always cheer on our team even if we're losing, and try my hardest each and every day. I make great efforts to achieve good grades by working hard and balancing studying with sports which has allowed me to become a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. I'm a hard worker on and off the field and have shown my ability to balance different aspects of my life through my accomplishments and I hope to continue progressing as a softball player in college.
